Dataset Sharing

This guide covers creating and managing dataset shares.

Create a share

1. Open Curated Datasets (List) and click Share for a finalized dataset.
2. Enter:
3. Purpose
4. Created For
5. Recipient email (optional)
6. Expiry window (hours)
7. Submit to generate a share link and OTP.

Distribute the share

• Share the download link with the recipient.
• Share the OTP separately (different channel).
• The recipient email receives the link (no OTP).
• The creator email receives the OTP (CC main_admin).

Manage shares

• Multiple shares can be active at once.
• Use Activate/Deactivate to control access without deleting a share.
• Use Regenerate OTP to invalidate a previous OTP and issue a new one.

Notes

• Deactivated shares remain listed but cannot download.
• OTPs are case-insensitive and time-bound.
